How to Make a Redstone Door in Minecraft

Redstone doors are great for the entry to your base or to just build when your bored.

Step 1. Dig a 3×2 hole in the ground. Dig a 3 block long trench off to either side.

Step 2. Dig one layer down leaving the end of the trenches.

Step 3. Put Redstone dust in the hole leaving the edge off from either side.

Step 4. Put redstone torches on the block that we left off to the side.

Step 5. Place your block of choice on top of the redstone dust and torches.

Step 6. Place any pressure plates on the 2 blocks on each side.

Step 7. Place 2 sticky pistons and a redstone dust on the uneven blocks.

Step 8. place your block of choice touching the sticky bit of the sticky pistons.

Step 9. Cover up all the redstone and pistons.

And there you have it! a redstone door! This is a cool entry to your base or house, just step on the pressure plates and the door will open.
